Jagdeep Singh Bedi

Jagdeep Singh Bedi is sitar and surbahar artist in Hindustani classical music. He is among very few artists who play both Sitar and Surbahar. Surbahar is among rare instruments. He belongs to a family of musicians as his father is a senior disciple of Padam Vibhushan Late Pandit Krishan Rao Shankar Pandit of Gwalior gharana. He has performed and taught in groups and in India and abroad. He finished M.A in music as Gold Medalist from Delhi University. * M.Phil in music 1st class from Delhi University. * I've been a recipient of National Scholarship, awarded by Ministry of Education ( Govt. of India). * As a mark of my outstanding dual ability, "Music of the World" USA released an exclusive audiocassette and compact disc titled "SOFT AND TRUE".
