Sangeetha Iyer

Sangeetha Iyer had initial training under Smt. Kalamandalam Premalatha and Smt. Kalamandalam Usha. She got trained in Mohiniattam by Smt. Kalamandalam Hymavathi, the retd. Professor and the Dept. Head for Mohiniattam of Kerala Kalamandalam. She learned Kathakali under Shri. Kalamandalam Soman, a disciple of Padmabhooshan Kalamandalam Raman Kutty Ashan. Apart from the dancing, she enjoys acting. She has done various Malayalam stage plays. She had received The Best Actress Awards for the Malayalam Play Aavarthana Virasam.
