V V Srinivasa Rao

V.V.Srinivasa Rao is a senior most Violinist, from Bangalore. He started to train in music at a young age from his father and guru Sri V.S.R.Anjeneya Bhagavatar. He continued his advanced lessons in music and violin from Sri Dwaram Satyanarayana and Sri V.V.Subramaniam. Rao is an "A Top" grade artist of AIR and given many programmes in AIR and Doordarshan. He has performed in famous sabhas and music festivals of India and abroad. His accompaniment with legendary musicians was well received by the audiences. His recitals were a part of many music albums and released on CDs. Srinivasa Rao is never short of awards and titles. He is the recipient of "Best Violinist", "Gandharva Vidhyadhara" awards, to name a few. He is also titled as the "Asthana Vidwan" for Kanchi Kamakoti, in 2006.
