Rachna Sinha

Rachna Sinha an accomplished Kathak Dancer. She is the founder of ABHYAS an association of Art Culture & Social Welfare. She received her extensive training in Kathak from Gandharva Mahavidyalaya (Ghaziabad). After that started her sincere training in Kathak from the renowned Guru Pt. Krishan Mohan Maharaj. She completed her post diploma from Kathak Kendra New Delhi. She received the scholarship from the Kathak Kendra and National scholarship for Kathak Dance from the Department of culture, Government of India. She performed in so many places in India and Abroad. She did Workshops and performances in Bangladesh as a Dance assistant of Guru Pt. Krishan Mohan Maharaj through ICCR, Many Dance Festivals in the USA, Canada, Europe, Spain Bangladesh etc. She has a special interest in teaching. She has conducted many workshops and choreographed programmes for the blind children of “BLIND RELIEF ASSOCIATION” New Delhi. She has also performed in so many regional videos like Hindi, Bhojpuri, Maithili, Gadhwali, and Kumauni. She has been honoured with the title of “Shringarmani” by Sur Shringar Samsad Mumbai and “Miss Madhubani” 1999 by the Jain Sabha Samiti Delhi. She has worked as a Repertory Artist in Kathak Kendra New Delhi. As a Teaching Faculty, she was a part of Sangeet Bharti New Delhi.
